Net Atlantic Labs & Endicott College Collaboration

August 28, 2017 - Salem, Massachusetts - Net Atlantic announced today their new Net Atlantic Labs technology incubator program, in partnership with Endicott College. According to R.J. Phipps, Net Atlantic VP of Product & Customer Success, the Labs are comprised of a high- performance team developing innovative technologies to disrupt email marketing. The team is a diverse collection of talented software developers, mathematical specialists, data analysts, data architects, educators, and students interested in the goal of optimizing efficacy and email response by the application of data science tools and methods within the business application of email marketing.

The Net Atlantic labs program is dedicated to the mission of helping clients address and overcome the unique problems of the modern email marketer, by attacking and solving the most complex problems in the field. In parallel, the team is charged with disrupting the industry with breakthrough thinking and innovation.

Based on 20+ years of experience with email marketing, 60+ billion email messages sent, and thousands of clients served, the Labs has a wealth of data to mine, analyze, interpret, present, and optimize on behalf of their clients.

The Labs program has, with their first initiative, deployed linear regression, K-means (clustering), peer group analysis, and theoretical analysis on real-word data sets. In results in a superior, conclusive email performance and grading summary project and reporting capability to help email marketers understand and optimize returns from their efforts.

Endicott College Collaboration
Endicott College has grown its computer science, business administration, and data science programs rapidly in recent years to meet the demands of incoming students. Endicott College has partnered with Net Atlantic in a collaborative fashion over many years with numerous successful internships. Endicott students from have interned at Net Atlantic and contributed in the areas of computer science (CS), information technology (IT), business administration, marketing, and more.

Endicott College is developing and expanding their data science offerings as part of their goal to offer exciting, in-demand, highly-relevant courses of study.

Leading the development of programs at Endicott is Phil Lombardo, associate professor of Mathematics and intern supervisor. Mr. Lombardo has been instrumental in the effort to spearhead the development of leading data science related programs to the college.
